Lang Specialty Trailers Helps Local Coal Mine Meet Health And Safety Regulations

 0
When Lang Specialty Trailers was contacted by a western Pennsylvania based  coal company looking for a solution to their on site sanitation needs we were happy to help.  They needed a system that would allow the miners to exit the mine, remove their dirty clothes, shower, and then put on their clean clothes before leaving for the day.  They also wanted this system to be portable and require no permits to move since they were hoping to be able to move it from one mine site to the next.

Lang Specialty Trailers came up with a system of three trailers that were design to be linked together using an integrated breezeway.  The first trailer the miners enter is a dirty locker room trailer where their uniforms can be removed.  They then enter a 28' combination shower restroom trailer that features 8 shower stalls with on demand hot water, two toilets, two urinals, and a three sink vanity.  Once the miners are done showering they pass into a 28' clean locker room trailer where they each have a locker that their clean clothes are stored in.  They get dressed in this trailer and then exit to the parking lot where they can exit the mine site. This system allows the miners to to leave all of the dirt and dust at the site so they do not make a mess of their car or house when they get home.
