Starting a Restroom Trailer Rental Business

We want to help you get started in the Restroom Rental Industry.

Adam and Steve Ghrist began in the event rental industry when they were both in high school, working with their parents at Windswept Entertainment and Events. Windswept is an event rental and production company that specialized in outdoor weddings and other outdoor events. They rented everything from tents, inflatable rides, tables and chairs, dunking booths and even mechanical bulls. The majority of their events took place outside in remote areas, restrooms were necessary, and needed to be delivered to the venue. They started with Porta Johns, and quickly discovered that porta johns and an expensive wedding just doesn't work.

In 2007 they found the solution and purchased their first restroom trailer. The restroom trailer fleet quickly grew. Trailers were being rented for weddings, graduation parties, corporate events, long term renovation projects, county airshows, parks, concerts, schools and the list goes on.

As restroom trailer operators, Adam and Steve quickly began to realize of improvements that could be made to the restroom trailers for the operators, to make their jobs easier when it came to delivery and pick up, maintenance and repairs. In 2015, the brothers began manufacturing their own restroom trailer to replace the ones in their fleet.

In 2017, Lang Specialty Trailers began making the best, most durable and easiest to operate restroom, shower, laundry and bunkhouse trailers on the market.
